Ken Richards started his own insurance agency in 1994 selling life, health, and investments. In 2005, the Brokers Insurance Agency added property and casualty insurance in order to offer our clients more complete layers of protection for both insurance and financial services. Ken's extensive knowledge and experience in the insurance industry allows us to build long-lasting relationships with our clients in the community.

Most recently in May 2021, we purchased Brokers Agency and along with this came our name changing to Brokers Insurance Agency. Brokers Agency provided property and casualty insurance in Nebraska for over 4 decades and became close friends with the Brokers Insurance Agency within the last few years. We look forward to this opportunity and continuing to provide quality service to our valued clients.

Nicole Bartzatt is a licensed property and casualty agent who began working with our agency in August 2018. Nicole enjoys working alongside our clients to find the best solution for them and their families at renewal. She understands the desire to maintain competitive rates and quality coverages, in order to meet clients' needs. Nicole has a strong commitment to excellence, and will patiently guide you through the insurance processes of policy changes, billing, and renewals.

Mickena Richards specializes in personal insurance, including home, auto, and life, as well as commercial insurance. Mickena joined our team in June of 2022 and is licensed in property and casualty. Mickena enjoys building a personal connection with her clients and educating her clients on the coverage that best meets their needs. Mickena also attended Nebraska Wesleyan University and graduated with two degrees (Business Administration and Psychology) in December of 2023. Payton Mayfield joined our team in June of 2024 and has recently obtained her license in property and casualty insurance. She graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in December of 2023. Payton is also enlisted in the Nebraska Air National Guard. Payton is passionate about providing positive customer service to all her clients and strives to make sure every client is valued and heard when it comes to their insurance needs.
